My first instinct was to check the ram, if you have more then one stick try booting the pc with just one stick, and see if it helps at all, ( it will slow it down some but may be better in the long run), Try each stick seperately, ( if you have three or 4, try to locate the bad stick)Ī generic way to check the ram would be to know how much your supposed to have then right click my computer, select proterties, and see how much it says you have.Īlso If you make it back to the desktop, ( highly doubtfull at this point), Safe mode, then control panel and uninstall what your not directly using, starting with the last program you installed. Its a little late for this step, But you still might be able to do something with it, Open the side of the pc, and look to see is there is a lot of dust build up inside it!
